Last year I missed Strawberry Days, so I made up for it by going to the carnival 3 times this year! We went on my Grandma's birthday before visiting her grave, it was my first time seeing her headstone. I felt like she would appreciate that we celebrated her with strawberries and cream!
Over the weekend, I managed to weasel my way into the Roderick family tradition and serve strawberries and cream with them at the parade again. This has got to be one of my all time favorite activities. I love the Roderick family and have such a blast serving up the delicacy of the week!
Later that night we introduced Ryan and Bryndee to J-Dawgs for the first time. Seriously people, you must eat there because it is the most amazing, delicious, wonderful hot dog on earth.
Then we caught some fireworks in the car and called it a night. Good Saturday with the Slades and a great celebration of Stawberry Days!

Man, I miss this place! AND I cannot believe I've never been to Strawberry Days! I didn't even know about it!
